I wonder if I can get away from this, and, if so, when. I just did the math, and it appears that at a 9-handed table when you have KK you can expect an opponent to have AA about 4% of the time. I'm not sure what that proves though. I guess just that you can't open shove with KK if you expect your opponents to play optimally against you.

I thought seriously about folding preflop to the 4-bet. It's a min 4-bet in fact. I wonder if this is a good fold at this level. I didn't have any stats on this particular opponent. I should probably fold the turn at least. QQ just caught up. I guess his slowplay (checking the flop and betting small on the turn) worked on me.

If I decide preflop that I'm willing to play for my stack, I'm pretty sure it's right to just call the 4-bet. AK only has 3 outs and QQ only has 2 outs and there's a quite reasonable chance he will get away from the hand preflop if I push. A lot of people will just stick it in in this spot, but I think that's clearly wrong.
