Update, Stats, FPP

I'm at $465 as of today, getting close to $500 at which point I can move up to $0.5/$1. The $0.25/$0.5 level has been going pretty well. Running at close to 8 BB/100. The players don't seem bad actually. I'm just catching some good cards and haven't lost a lot of money on a good second best hand in a while.

Was just looking at my stats:

$0.05/$0.1: 10,692 hands, 2.94 BB/100
$0.1/$0.25: 767 hands, 35.71 BB/100
$0.25/$0.5: 2,553 hands, 7.88 BB/100 (level not complete yet)

You can see how hot I ran at $0.1/$0.25.

I've also been looking into the PokerStars rewards system. Basically you earn VIP points (and FPP - Frequent Player Points) by playing in hands with a sufficiently high rake. If you get enough VIP points in a month, you qualify for a higher VIP level; e.g., Silver Star, Gold Star, Platinum Star. The higher levels let you earn FPP points faster and also give you access to rewards that are not available at lower levels. For example, if you are Silver Star, you can exchange 5000 FPP for $50. There is also various sorts of merchandise - books, clothes, electronics - available. The only interesting things are a couple of the electronics items, but they require tens of thousands of FPP. Cash may turn out to be the best option. I wonder if you get a better exchange rate by saving up more points. Anyhow, I think it will be achievable for me to reach Silver Star by the end of this month.
