A Weird Hand

At the time, I was really unhappy about this call, even though I have the second nuts. His raise on the turn shows an ace, I figured. My call suggests I have an ace as well. His gross overbet on the river suggests a hand that expects to make money off of an ace. I suppose I can put him on A7, a chopping A8 and an optimistic AQ, as well as the feared AK.

Turned out he had 77. So his river play totally makes sense, but the turn play is surprising.

More evidence that you should never fold the second nuts (as if more were needed)...
